For snook fishing, live bait tends to be your best bet.

Pilchards, mullet, pinfish, and shrimp are top choices because they're naturally part of a snook's diet.

Live bait works wonders because it naturally attracts snook.

If you're going the artificial route, consider using soft plastic lures that mimic the look and movement of these fish or shrimp. Topwater plugs are also effective, especially in the early morning or late evening. Remember, the key is to mimic natural prey as closely as possible to tempt those snooks into biting.
